Florida is the state of beaches. It has the most coastline of any state in the lower 48 states. The state was founded by the Spanish in 1500. It is home to the oldest European city in the United States. The state is virtually flat, the highest point is only 345 ft (105 m) high. The state is called the sunshine state due to the sunny year around weather. Here is my Florida Bucket List.

Great list. Love checking off bucket lists
I do too. They are great.
I’ve also got a list of places and things I want to see around Florida. The problem is, I check something off but add two more! lol
I am the exact same way.
Try alligator wrestling!?! That’s not something you hear people wanting to try! 😉 Let us know how that goes, please. Florida has so much natural beauty. Glad to see you include many great places here on your list. Certainly, it’s not just beaches and theme parks.
Yea. I watched a TV show on it once. I wanted to try it. I have done the theme parks but Florida has so many more things to do.
Its so satisfying to check experiences off a list sometimes and reminisce on how amazing they were. Seeing a mermaid should be fun! There is actually a mermaid school in Singapore, if you’re planning to visit someday 🙂
I plan on going to Singapore eventually but that sounds like fun.
Wow, that’s a lot to see. My heart is with Orlando right now, that’s for sure. That’s the only Florida destination I’ve been to other than Miami – obviously I have a very long bucket list to knock off!
I have a bucket list that when it is written out is probably thousands of items long. I plant to get as much done as possible.
Wow you’ve gotten to a lot of spots already! Florida is my favourite state for sure 🙂
I loved living there for four year and there is so much more to do.
Yes, you are right. The beaches are definitely world famous, so thank you for pointing out some other attractions as well. Definitely do not wanna get eaten by an alligator 🙂
The beaches are great but there is so much more to the state.
Love how you’re checking things off as you do them. Congratulations on that strategy. I just want to do it all and see just about everywhere! Not so organized but I know there’s so much more than Disneyworld for me yet to explore in Florida!
I am not really organized and for everything I cross off, I add 3 more things.
I think instead of “Almost get eaten by an alligator” I’d just simply say “See an alligator.” Nope…nvm, scratch that. I’d actually have “Avoid all alligators” on my FL bucket list!!!
I had a small incident where I had the tar scared out of me by an alligator that was 15 feet from me.
I haven’t been to Florida yet but I’ve read about way too many amazing places to visit. This is definitely a great list!
I’ll make sure to visit some of these on my next US trip.
Cheers!
Thanks. I love the state of Florida.
