2017 is almost over. It is time to begin planning your 2018 outdoor adventures. I asked my fellow travel bloggers to share their recommendations for a 2018 outdoor adventure. Every Thursday, I will be posting a photo from my travels and a spotlight on the location. Today’s Spotlight Thursday is from my ‘I am going to travel while job hunting trip’ to Europe. Well actually, my plan to spend a couple months in Europe became two weeks in the UK because I pretty much set-up two interviews with in three days of landing in London. As part of the trip, I took the bus down from London to Canterbury and then Canterbury to Dover. Upon arriving at Dover, I visited Dover castle and the newly opened, Dover tunnels. I then took a taxi over to the White Cliffs of Dover.

This is the St. Mary in Castro Church. I visited Dover Castle as part of my 2015 trip to England while job hunting. I spent a day exploring the historic castle, church and grounds that has seen / been part of much of England’s history. Dover has played a critical role in both the defence and offence of England.
Hello 2016. I can’t wait to see what you bring in my adventures. 2015 was a great year for exploring the world. I visited 3 continents and 7 countries. I had some great adventures and some amazing experiences. I even had time to visit a few US states and cross 5 National Parks off my list.
