Savannah, Georgia, is the epitome of a southern United States city. Established in 1733 as the capital of the Georgia colony, Savannah is a city that combines old-world charm with new-world conveniences. The city is a wonderful place to take a carriage ride around the cobblestone streets. It’s is home to many historic buildings and homes such as Juliette Gordon Low (founder of the Girl Scouts). The city is also home to the Telfair Academy of Arts and Sciences, one of the first public museums in the world. You’ll find a rich history between the Revolutionary War and American Civil War.
