Spotlight Thursday - Seeing the Roman Bath in Bath England

Every Thursday, I will be posting a photo from my travels and a spotlight on the location. Today’s Photo Thursday is from my trip to the Roman Bath in Bath England, United Kingdoms.  I had planned to spend a couple of days in Bath but due to an interview I had to cut my trip short.  I took a three-hour bus trip from London to Bath.  I used Megabus since all the National Express Buses were full.  Megabus did a great job and got me to Bath on time.  Once in Bath, I dropped my stuff off at my hostel and went to the Bath Visitor Center.  I decide to save time by purchasing one of the multiple venue pass to bypass the line for the Roman Bath.  It was only a couple of extra Pounds. It was worth it to skip the two-hour line.  I took about 4 hours to tour the Roman Baths and exploring the history.

After the Baths, I did a tour of the Bath Cathedral and walked around the town.  In the evening, I went on the Bizarre Bath – The Comedy Walk. I highly recommend this tour.  It was hilarious and an enjoyable way to spend an evening.

The next day I attended a glass blowing demonstration by Bath Aqua Glass.   If you plan ahead, you can make your own glass ornament.
